GET TO KNOW ME

I have held various roles in Human Resources for over 18 years and obtained my MBA from Michigan State University. I hold a certification from the International Coach Federation as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC).

Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to speak across the country at various national conferences on emerging workforce issues and was recently a keynote speaker for a Women’s Business Network event in my community.

I am involved in the southwest Michigan community because I believe in the value of giving back and the importance in investing my time and efforts to make our community the best that it can be for everyone.

I enjoy serving on a number of boards in our community including: the OutCenter, Michigan’s Great

Southwest Strategic Leadership Council and Magician Lake Improvement Association.

I’m also starting my fourth year as a member of the Leadership Accelerator (LA) facilitation team and is Lead of the Coaching Partnership. I am part of the team who created the program design, curriculum and framework for LA. I have also created and lead the Coaching Partnership that engages LA alumni to coach and support their learning and growth during their time in the program. I have partnered with the Women’s Business Center at Cornerstone Alliance to develop and lead a Women’s Development Series, Inside Out. This series is designed for women entrepreneurs to take them on a journey to becoming unstoppable. I absolutely love having the opportunity to connect with amazing women in my community and focus on creating space for each person to be their best self in all aspects of their lives. I live in southwest Michigan with my husband, Mick, on Magician Lake. Water has always been a calming force in my life and I have been coming to this same lake for 40 years. I’m grateful to live and work in a community that I love and know that I will continue to make a positive impact on those around me through my business, Buoyancy.
